Nothin’ Fancy Bluegrass Festival starts Sept. 25

newspaperThe City of Buena Vista, Virginia invites Bluegrass music lovers to join them for the 14th annual Nothin’ Fancy Bluegrass Festival to be held September 25-27 at Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista. The 3-day festival will feature a lineup of national and local Bluegrass bands to will include: Rhonda Vincent, Lonesome Will Mullins, The Bluegrass Mountaineers, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, James King, Larry Stephenson Band, The Bluegrass Brothers, Reno & Harrell, Bill Yates, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, Remington Ryde — not to mention your host band Nothin’ Fancy!

A special Wednesday event will be held at the park as the first ever Nothin’ Fancy Corn Hole Tournament and Golf Cart Poker Run are inaugurated.  Details and registration for both events will be held at the gate beginning on Sunday, September 21st.

The festival will be held rain or shine and overnight camping is available and encouraged. Tickets are available at: www.nothinfancybluegrass.com. Advance Tickets: 3-Day – $70/person; Thu – $25/person; Fri – $25/person; Sat – $30/person; FREE/children (under 12 with paying adult).
