New exhibit at Staunton Augusta Art Center

The Staunton Augusta Art Center announces the opening of a new exhibit, Promises We Make to Ourselves, a 15-year dialogue between mentor and student, mixed media collages by Sarah Bean and her mentor Roderick Slater.

saaclogoThe opening reception and opportunity to meet and celebrate the artists is scheduled for Friday, January 17, 5-7pm, in the Staunton Augusta Art Center galleries in the R.R. Smith Center for History and Art at 20 S. New Street in historic downtown Staunton.  Regular gallery hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Friday and 10am-4pm Saturday.  The exhibit will run through February 22.  There is no admission charge to visit the galleries; art works will be available for viewing and for purchasing.
