QUALITY START FROM BROWN
Mitch Brown
limited Wilmington to two runs on seven hits in six innings while striking out a pair to earn his third win of the season. The right-hander saw his team take the lead on an unearned run in the top of the second inning when Claudio Bautista scored on an errant throw by Mauricio Ramos. However, Wilmington tied the game in the home half on the combination of three hits and a walk. Cody Stubbs plated the tying run on an RBI single by Cam Gallagher.

Brown surrendered his final run in the third inning when Ramos doubled and Stubbs singled him in to give the Blue Rocks a 2-1 lead.

HILLCATS RECLAIM LEAD
After Luigi Rodriguez tied the game with his RBI single in the fifth, the Hillcats jumped back in front in the sixth with another unearned run. Nellie Rodriguez reached on an error and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by Sicnarf Loopstok, which marked his first RBI at the Advanced-A level. Jakob Junis (3-6) took the loss after allowing three runs in six innings despite two of the runs being unearned.
