A Gordonsville man is dead after being run over by a tractor-trailer following an accident on a motorcyle near the intersection of I-64 and Route 15 in Louisa County.
Stephen Hossain, 29, was operating a 1992 Honda CBR motorcycle southbound on Route 15 at approximately 2:07 p.m. Thursday when he lost control and fell off the motorcycle. A 2008 Kenworth tractor-trailer was also traveling southbound Route 15 in the right lane, and ran over Hossain with the rear tires of the trailer.
Hossain succumbed to his injuries at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
