Sometimes first aid isn’t a bandage or CPR. Sometimes, first aid is you.
A Mental Health First Aid training is being offered May 2 at Mary Baldwin University in Staunton from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The training is free thanks to support from the Virginia Department of Behaviorial Health and Development Services and MBU. Pre-registration is required.
A person you know could be experiencing a mental health problem or substance use problem. Learn an action plan to help.
You are more likely to encounter someone in an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack. Learn how to help a friend, family member, coworker or neighbor in need. Get training in Mental Health First Aid.
