Ken Cuccinelli’s Tea Party allies in Congress are about to shut down the government to drive their extreme ideological agenda, putting Virginia’s economy and our servicemen and women’s ability to protect our nation at risk.
That’s the thrust of a new web ad from the McAuliffe campaign.
“Virginia’s economy cannot be used as a pawn in extreme Tea Party Republicans’ politicalgames,” said McAuliffe spokesperson Josh Schwerin. “Ken Cuccinelli’s refusal to condemn his extreme allies’ efforts to shutdown the federal government is another way that Cuccinelli has put extreme ideology ahead of what is best for the Commonwealth.”
