Mary Baldwin University continues to rise in U.S. News rankings for 2019

mary baldwin universityU.S. News & World Report has recognized Mary Baldwin University as one of the best regional universities in the South in today’s release of 2019 rankings.

MBU continues to rise up the list, coming in at no. 31 this year, up 12 spots from no. 43 last year. That’s a cumulative increase of 21 spots in the Best Regional South category over the past two years.

Prospective students and their families often turn to the news magazine’s annual Best Colleges rankings to make informed decisions about what programs and schools are a good fit.

This year, MBU also comes in at no. 7 for the Best Value in the South, up from no. 19 last year, and no. 21 for Best Colleges for Veterans, up from no. 26.

The U.S. News rankings evaluate colleges and universities on 16 measures of academic quality, including first-year student retention, graduation rates, and faculty excellence. To see the full lists, visit usnews.com.
