Lovingston pet welfare workers attend workshop

newspaperBonnie Stevens represented Humane Sociey/ SPCA of Nelson County, Marjorie Oram and Krista Waibel represented Almost Home and Sigrid Mirabella represented AHPAC/SPCA of Nelson at a one-day workshop in Charlottesville, presented by Petfinder, the online database of adoptable pets.  The workshop was hosted by Petco and Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA

Topics included marketing online, networking with other adoption programs, training dogs for adoptability, and feline upper respiratory conditions and treatment.  Speakers came from across the country to present the program.
