There has been a long wait for the launching of a state-regulated casino. Bill H 271 will go down in the history books as the piece of legislation that has led to this historic launch. Last year saw the state make sports betting at casinos legal.

This came soon after the historic ruling by the US Supreme Court that allowed individual states to decide whether or not to legalize sports betting. It’s estimated that the new gambling rules will bring in over $1bn in taxes every year for Pennsylvania.
