Join the Waynesboro Democratic Committee and AugustaFreePress.com/The New Dominion Magazine for an Obama Watch Party on Thursday night!

The Waynesboro Democratic Committee will open its headquarters complete with a big-screen TV to enjoy Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s speech.

The headquarters will be open from 8-11 p.m. for speeches from Obama and former vice president Al Gore.

The event is open to public and will feature light refreshments.

“This is a great way to get people informed before the election,” said Waynesboro Democratic Committee chairman. “Our committee wants to be proactive this campaign season and make sure that people are educated on where Barack stands on issues. Offering TV watching parties between now and Nov. 4 is one way we plan to educate the community.”

The committee headquarters are located in Waynesboro at 801-C Broad Street, in Willow Oak Plaza, next to the Artisans Center of Virginia.

More information on the event is available by calling Graham at 540.910.0434 or visiting http://waynesborodemocrats.wordpress.com.
