Interstate 81: Overnight lane closures in Augusta County beginning tonight

interstate 81Overnight single lane closures are scheduled for northbound Interstate 81 in Augusta County from Sunday, August 21, through early December.

The location is from mile marker 207 to 209 between Raphine and Greenville, where contractors will be paving and installing guardrail, rumble strips and drainage structures.

Left or right lane closures will take place Sunday through Friday nights from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. All work is weather permitting.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
