What do we know about ACC basketball after a topsy-turvy opening weekend?

chris9We thought we had the ACC all figured out. #3 UVA escaped unranked Miami in two overtimes. Notre Dame had a similar double-OT scrape with Georgia Tech at home, then went to Chapel Hill and took down the Tar Heels on Big Monday. Virginia Tech fell just short of coming all the way back from a 22-point deficit to Syracuse.

Augusta Free Press editor Chris Graham joins host Mark Moses on 95.9-The Fan in Melbourne, Fla., to try to make sense of a topsy-turvy weekend in the ACC, and to answer the question being asked across the college basketball landscape about whether or not Virginia is for real.

In addition to ACC basketball, Chris and Mark look back at last week’s college football playoff semifinals with an eye toward the Jan. 12 championship game pitting #2 Oregon and #4 Ohio State.

Augusta Free Press content is available for free, as it has been since 2002, save for a disastrous one-month experiment at putting some content behind a pay wall back in 2009.
