Kiser named to Crossroads to Brain Injury Recovery board

kiserCrossroads to Brain Injury Recovery announced this week that Christy Kiser of Waynesboro has joined the organization as the newest member of the Board of Trustees.

Kiser is a former caregiver and is serving on the board in honor of her late husband, B. Frank Kiser. Currently she is employed at Barren Ridge Physical Therapy and is the owner/operator of Touch from the Heart Massage Therapy in Waynesboro.  She has had crisis training, fundraising and public speaking experiences. She hopes to make a difference in the lives of those affected by brain injury in the area.

Crossroads to Brain Injury Recovery is a not-for-profit that serves 5 counties in Virginia improving the quality of life for those affected by brain injury by helping individuals lead more independent and productive lives.  Services include case management, community support services, positive behavior support facilitation, information and referral, and professional and case consultation.
