McNeill is entering her third season as a member of Boyle’s Virginia coaching staff, after also being a member of Boyle’s staffs at Richmond and California. Before coming to Virginia, McNeill was an assistant coach at the University of Georgia from 2007-11. In her two seasons with the Cavaliers, McNeill helped lead the 2011-12 team to a 25-11 record with an appearance in the WNIT quarterfinals and was a key element in helping to sign an incoming 2013-14 freshman class that was ranked in the top-10 bymultiple recruiting sites last season. While at Georgia, McNeill helped sign a pair of top-five ranked recruiting classes in 2008 and 2009.

“It has been a real pleasure for me to watch Kim’s professional development over the years that I have known her,” Boyle said. “After working alongside me to build three programs, I know she is deserving of the responsibilities of an associate head coach. She is a very gifted, passionate and genuine coach who has great energy on the court and is a tireless and extremely effective recruiter. I appreciate all that she has done for this program as an assistant coach andwhat she will bring to it in her new position.”
