Back when I was a child, we had the most boring bedding sets you could imagine. No, seriously, I’m talking all-white sheets, pillowcases – everything was just a big pile of whiteness.
Sorry, mom, I know you tried your best, but gosh, was it boring.
Blame it on that, if you will, but now that I have little ones of my own, I try my best to make their bedrooms as fun and colorful as possible. And, considering that I have two little girls running around the house, that often involves ladybug, kitten, and mermaid-themed everything.
From rugs and blankets to bedding sets – you name it.
But as fun as letting them express themselves through their bedroom decor can be, it has the potential to be super frustrating, as well – especially when I can’t seem to find anything that matches their creative visions.
Enter Kaylee And Tepid – a Singapore-based brand that saved my time and effort, and helped me make my girl’s dream come true!

Kaylee And Tepid: A First-Hand Shopping Experience
Before we go further, here’s a quick recap of how I stumbled across this brand, in the first place:
As requested by my younger one, I was searching the web for a very “colorful kitty blanket” that would match the already over-the-top kitten bedding set she had.
What can I say, my kids have very “unique” tastes.
But anything I showed her was met with one-word disapproval – “boring”, “meh”, “ugly” – you get the picture.
I was about to call it quits when I discovered Kaylee And Tepid.
I’m a bit ashamed to admit it now, but I wasn’t entirely sold on the idea of shopping there, because, well, their website didn’t look very promising.
But my daughter fell in love with one of their blankets – and after hours of searching, I was too tired to say “No.“
Plus, the price was affordable enough to not lose sleep over it if anything goes wrong.
So, I picked a size, ordered the blanket, and it wasn’t until the next day that I went back to browse around the website a bit more – and that’s where my real Kaylee And Tepid review begins.
Here are a few essential things I learned – or noticed – about the brand throughout this entire experience:
- I love that the products are all grouped according to the theme, rather than type – it made my job ten times easier. And the categories are pretty broad, yet neatly organized, from Animal, Sea Animal and Guitar to Book, Sport, and Camping.
- Both my orders were shipped within three business days or so, and the staff at Kaylee And Tepid were kind enough to inform me about the status of my order throughout the whole process.
- All products are covered with a 30-day return window. I hope it doesn’t come to that, though, because they do ask you to return all items in the original packaging, preferably unopened, and take care of return shipping fees.
- Kaylee And Tepid customer reviews I’ve seen so far are overwhelmingly positive, and while I had my doubts at first, I have to say that I get it now. And this review is my way of saying:
“Sorry that I doubted the quality of your products based on what your website looks like or how well-known your brand is – and thank you for making my little girls happy.“
Do you know what the funniest part is?
After reading a couple of very promising Kaylee And Tepid rug reviews, I ended up ordering a similar kitten-themed rug for my other daughter’s bedroom and a tote bag for myself that same day.
And for those who were wondering, yes, my girls are head-over-heels in love with their newest bedroom decor!
And to think that I almost decided not to give Kaylee And Tepid a chance based on the design of their website. I’m pretty sure that there’s a lesson about not judging a book by its cover in there somewhere, but I’ll let you figure it out on your own.
