The Augusta Regional SPCA in partnership with the Staunton Augusta Art Center, is having an art auction on March 21st to benefit both organizations.
Since March is Youth Art Month, the SPCA is inviting all area schools to participate in the event by having students create and donate artwork.
The event will also feature artwork donated by local professional artists.
The evening will feature a silent auction, live auction, hors d’oevres, music, beer & wine.
The event is being held in in memory of The Honorable John Curry. The idea of a child’s art auction fundraiser was spearheaded by Curry. Proceeds from the auction will support the lifesaving programs and services of the Augusta Regional SPCA and the artistic activities and exhibits of the Staunton Augusta Art Center.
