Jeddie Hensley offered painting demo at ERSC

Elkton artist Jeddie Hensley visited the East Rockingham Senior Center on Nov. 14 and offered a Bob Ross painting demonstration.

Mr. Hensley is a well-known individual, and has been practicing and teaching this wet-on-wet painting technique since 1985.  He has provided this program for at least four years at our Center, and he has been very generous in donating his completed art piece to an eager member of the audience.  Today was no exception, and his print of a snowy winter scene went to ERSC volunteer, Wilma Bain.

The 23 ERSC members and several guests in attendance watched attentively as Mr. Hensley carefully mixed oil paints and applied them to his canvas, completing the painting today in 25 minutes.
