Interstate 81 southbound lane closures in Frederick County: Oct. 6-8

i81-headerOvernight lane closures are scheduled for next week on southbound Interstate 81 in Frederick County while crews install traffic sensors in the pavement. A single lane will be closed Tuesday through Thursday nights, October 6 – 8, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. The work zone runs from about mile marker 315.1 to 314.6 near Winchester.

All work is weather permitting.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
