Interstate 81 lane closures in Shenandoah, Rockbridge

interstate 81Motorists using Interstate 81 should be alert for overnight lane closures in Shenandoah and Rockbridge counties from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. beginning Monday, July 25.

In Shenandoah County from mile marker 292 to 296, northbound single lane closures are needed for milling, paving and pavement marking. These operations are scheduled for Monday through Friday nights until August 27.

In Rockbridge County near mile marker 188, northbound and southbound single lane closures are needed for bridge painting operations. This work will take place Monday through Sunday nights and is scheduled for completion on August 12.

All work is weather permitting.
