House of Cards: Not sleeping much this weekend?

Kevin Spacey put it well when talking about the upcoming season three of House of Cards, which drops on NetFlix at 3:01 a.m. Eastern on Friday morning.

“We have miles to go before we sleep.”

You got that right, bud.

“House of Cards” is bingeworthy, so the drop of the 13-episode season promises to leave many bleary-eyed this weekend.

Spacey, as Frank Underwood, a South Carolina Democratic congressman who in Seasons 1 and 2 schemed his way into the vice presidency and eventually became POTUS, was actually talking in the “sleep” quote about how much darker the series on the underworld in Washington politics will become.

Darker? Darker than a man on the track toward the presidency throwing a star political reporter in front of an oncoming train?

No, we’re not going to get any sleep.
