AugustFreepress-Hillary-Clinton-400x226Hillary Clinton submitted the needed signatures to the Virginia Board of Elections today to qualify for the ballot ahead of the March 1 Virginia primary, and her campaign pledged to build a ground up, grassroots campaign.

“Our campaign in Virginia is being built from the ground up, driven by a grassroots coalition that’s excited about her proven record and fired up about her agenda that looks out for their concerns,” said Hillary for America Director of State Campaigns and Political Engagement Marlon Marshall. “As President, Hillary Clinton’s priorities are those things that keep Virginians up at night- quality schools, good roads and an economy that works for every American, not just those at the top. Voters are excited that Hillary Clinton has a bold agenda to create jobs and get incomes rising again, to protect people’s right to vote, to keep our families safe from gun violence, and to make college more affordable.
