This partnership with the Health Department will provide women with the support they need for the best possible outcomes. The HCHC will provide additional assistance to women who would like referrals to other community resources that promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle to lower the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, obesity and high blood pressure.

The program will begin July 1, 2013.  More information will be posted over the next several weeks about how to access the program.  The HCHC appreciates the support of the Health Department to help us better meet the needs of women in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham area.
