economic-forecast-headerThe 2016 Governor’s Conference on Agricultural Trade will be held March 7 and 8 at the Hilton Richmond Downtown.

The event is being organized by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, the Virginia Port Authority and Virginia Tech’s Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. Registration is open at http://events.SignUp4.com/GovAgTrade2016, and details will be made available online as they are finalized.

“Our annual trade conference has become a premier venue for those new to or already involved in international markets to get updates on the world of trade,” said Spencer Neale, VFBF vice president of commodity marketing. “It’s a great opportunity to network with a diverse group of stakeholders who have a common interest in this growing economic segment of agribusiness in the commonwealth.”
