Glenn Miller Orchestra live at The Paramount
Formed in March 1938, the Glenn Miller Orchestra has been a fixture in American music for decades. The orchestra is responsible for record-breaking titles, such as such as “Tuxedo Junction”, which sold 115,000 copies in the first week, as well as hits including “In the Mood”, and “Pennsylvania 6-5000”.
Nick Hilscher is currently leader of the Orchestra. Multi-talented as singer, pianist, arranger and orchestrator, he displayed his talents for conducting as director of The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. In January 2012 Nick was chosen to lead The Glenn Miller Orchestra.
