The local chapter of the LPGA Foundation’s Girls Golf will be hosting a Movin’ and Groovin’ event at James Madison University on Saturday to spread love of the game to young girls.
Girls Golf is designed to enhance young ladies’ enjoyment and knowledge towards the game of golf in a socially and physically safe and fun environment. The program is led locally by Judi Flohr from the JMU Morrison Bruce Center and Wendy Kern, an LPGA Class A Teaching Professional at Mulligan’s Golf Center in Harrisonburg.
The Movin’ and Groovin’ event will be held at Godwin Hall at JMU from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Register online at www.jmu.edu/kinesiology/cppagw/movingroovinday.html.
