Friends of Library hold bargain book sale

Waynesboro Public LibraryThe Friends of the Waynesboro Public Library will hold a Bargain Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 4 at the Waynesboro Public Library. The sale will include a hundreds of popular adult fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as books for children.  All books will cost 50₵.

Friends volunteer Velma Ryan says, “All proceeds from the sale will benefit the library and its programming. In addition, the Bargain Book Sale will provide room needed to get ready for our much larger annual book sale.”

The Friends’ Annual Book Sale will be September 20-22, with a preview on September 19 for members. The public is welcome to join the Friends at any time, including during the Bargain Book Sale.
