Who: Sponsored by the hOUR Economy, Transition Staunton Augusta, and Staunton Creative Community Fund. Led and coordinated by several great ladies, and supported by many eco- friendly community members.

Background:  Eco swaps have been happening all over America for years and now they’ve officially arrived in Staunton. Eco Swaps are an innovative, money-saving, and conservation-minded way to perk up your home or wardrobe for FREE while lightening your own load by sharing and/or swapping items you no longer want or need with others. Left over Eco-Swap items will be delivered to a local thrift store. This is just one engaging and creative way to be environmentally friendly, fashion forward, and community minded all at the same time. Future local Eco Swaps, slated to happen monthly, will have different themes — men, children’s goods, garden, summer living, books, household goods, holiday gifts & crafts and more.
