First Bank awarded Best Places to Work in Virginia for 2015

First National Corporation (OTCQB: FXNC) announced Tuesday that its wholly owned bank subsidiary, First Bank (the “Bank”), was named as one of the 2015 Best Places to Work in Virginia by Virginia Business Magazine.

This is the fifth year that Virginia Business Magazine has conducted the Best Places to Work in Virginia Survey and Awards Program in cooperation with Best Companies Group based in Pennsylvania, and the first year that First Bank has participated.  The Bank was one of 150 companies who surveyed their employees with a specific focus on a number of core areas, such as leadership, training, pay and benefits, and overall engagement.  The Best Companies Group then ranked the top 100 participating companies which included, 63 small employers, 17 midsize firms, and 20 large companies based on survey results, which then allowed Virginia Business Magazine the opportunity to recognize the best employers in the Commonwealth.
