By special arrangements, WTA’s Gateway has secured two performances by Elvis and the Graceland Express on Friday, Aug. 10 and Saturday, Aug. 11.

The show is the brain child of Bob Lunger.  He will channel Elvis in a show dedicated to the music that is at the heart of the America’s Rock ‘n Roll.  He has gathered a group of local musicians who bring to life the special sound of the times.  The performances will be at 8 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro.

Bob Lunger is one of the most popular and versatile performers in the area.  His personification of Elvis is a treat for all who have seen it.  The Elvis and the Graceland Express performances will be a rare opportunity to enjoy a full evening with Elvis at center stage.

Accompanying Elvis will be the Graceland Express.  The rock ‘n roll ensemble includes Chris Cole on drums, John Hoy on guitar, Dennis Hutchins on bass, Bart Lawhorne on guitar and vocals, and Dale Roller on keyboard and vocals.

Tickets for the special Elvis and the Graceland Express are $10 advance sale and $12 at the door.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.wtagateway.com or by calling the box office 540-943-9999.
