Downtown Harrisonburg to come alive

logo-blue-green_thumbnail.jpgMore than two dozen venues in Downtown Harrisonburg will bring the streets alive Friday evening during the Spring Museum and Gallery Walk.

The 4-8 p.m. event will highlight artwork, performances, music and fine crafts in The Friendly City.

Venues with special events on the schedule include:

– An Altered Books Exhibit at the Massanutten Regional Library.

– HHS National Art Honor Society exhibits at the Cally’s hallway.

– Musician Scott Murray to play at the Smith House Gallery.

– Wearable Art at Oasis Gallery.

– Trash to Treasure kids art activities at the Harrisonburg Children’s Museum.

The event is sponsored by The Arts Council of the Valley, Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance and the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce.
