Culpeper VDOT District News: Expect delays due to road resurfacing

road-work-headerLane closures will occur on several highways in Culpeper District this week as crews perform preparation work for roadway resurfacing. Work will occur at the locations listed below Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Motorists should obey traffic controls and expect brief delays.

 

Albemarle County

Route 20 (Scottsville Road) – Traffic reduced to one lane from Route 6 (Irish Road) to Route 708 (Red Hill Road).

Route 20 (Stony Point Road) – Traffic reduced to one lane from just north of Route 250 (Richmond Road) to Route 621 (Wolf Trap Road).

 

 

Louisa County

Route 15 (James Madison Highway) – Traffic reduced to one lane from just north of the Sommerfield Business Park entrance to Route 22 (Louisa Road).

Route 15 (James Madison Highway) – Traffic reduced to one lane from 0.5 mile north of Route 603 (Bowlers Mill Road) to the Orange County line.

Route 22 (Davis Highway) – Traffic reduced to one lane from the Louisa town limits to Route 522 (Mineral Avenue) in the town of Mineral.

Route 522 (Zachary Taylor Highway) – Traffic reduced to one lane from Route 667 (Old Tolersville Road) to 0.95 mile south of Route 770 (Johnny Hall Road).

 

 

Madison County

Route 29 (Seminole Trail) – Traffic reduced to one lane from 0.7 mile north of Route 678 (Tibbs Shop Road) to just south of Route 612 (James City Road).

Route 29 (Seminole Trail) – Traffic reduced to one lane from Route 662 (Shelby Road) to 0.87 mile south of Route 230 (Wolftown-Hood Road).

Route 29 (Seminole Trail) – Traffic reduced to one lane from Route 634 (Oak Park Road) to just north of Route 607 (Lillards Ford Road).

 

 

Rappahannock County

Route 211 (Lee Highway) – Traffic reduced to one lane from 0.6 mile east of Route 1003 (Waterpenny Lane) to just east of Route F-724.

Route 211 (Lee Highway) – Traffic reduced to one lane from one mile east of Route 621 (Colvin Road) to the Fauquier County line.

Route 522 (Sperryville Pike) – Traffic reduced to one lane from 0.8 mile south of Route 655 (Short Road) to 0.4 mile north of Route 231 (F.T. Valley Road).
