cuccinelli-header2Ken Cuccinelli yesterday received the Police Benevolent Association’s (PBA) endorsement for Governor. The endorsement came after an in-person interview the previous weekend.

“The Police Benevolent Association’s endorsement is particularly meaningful to me,” said Ken Cuccinelli. “I work with law enforcement every day and know their concerns about officer safety, bureaucracy at a state level, and obtaining the tools they need to keep Virginians safe—especially the most vulnerable in our society.  In the attorney general’s office, we’ve worked with law enforcement across the Commonwealth to crack down on human traffickers, child predators, gang leaders and scam artists. Through that experience, I have gained a firsthand understanding of what our police officers need to more effectively do their jobs. I am honored to have the PBA’s endorsement for Governor and look forward to continuing to work closely with the organization over the next four years to make our communities safer and more attractive to economic development.”

“The Virginia PBA is proud to endorse Ken Cuccinelli for Virginia Governor.  Ken  is committed to making strong, effective law enforcement a priority in his campaign and we look forward to working with him into the future.  A vote for Ken Cuccinelli is a vote for the men and women of law enforcement and the citizens we serve,” said Joe Woloszyn, Virginia PBA President.

The Virginia Police Benevolent Association represents over 3,000 law enforcement officials in the Commonwealth.
