newspaperCrossroads to Brain Injury Recovery announced that Brenda Zimmerman has joined the organization as a board member. Zimmerman resides in Augusta County, has a background in home healthcare, and is a caregiver.

“As a caregiver Brenda brings unique insights to our Board,” stated Jacob Penrod, President of the Crossroads to Brain Injury Recovery Board of Trustees. He added, “Often a person’s caregiver and family are the most important members of the team to provide the needed supports for an individual. Brenda brings her extensive background as a caregiver and a voice for pediatric needs.”

Crossroads is excited to continue to recruit board members who represent a variety of diverse interests within the field of brain injury, from specialists to caregivers.
