County Spring Clean-up begins this weekend

The Augusta County Spring Clean-up is being held Saturday, April 9-Saturday, April 16. The Augusta County Landfill will be open from 8 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. Monday through Saturday to accept waste. In addition, tires (limit of 12) may be brought to the Landfill with no tipping fee. Tires mounted on split rims or from businesses will not be accepted.

In addition to the Landfill, appliances will be accepted at the following satellite Landfill locations: Augusta Springs, Crimora, Greenville, Mount Solon and New Hope. 

The following Ruritan Clubs are hosting clean-up events in their communities; Middlebrook (Middlebrook Post Office), Deerfield (Community Center), Beverley Manor (Swoope Volunteer Fire Department) and Buffalo Gap (Maburn Gap Station).

Goodwill will be located at the Landfill to accept computers and small electronics.
