Comedian Ray Diva to headline Ladies Night Out Comedy Show

Original post: March 25, 2:28 p.m. Who said it was a man’s world? It’s not when the original Diva of Comedy hits the stage. Ray Diva will headline the Ladies Night Out Comedy Show at the Jefferson School Heritage Center on Friday, April 6, at 8pm.

Diva has toured the country and have appeared on national television programs including Comedy Night at the Apollo and others. Characterized by the comedy scene as being one of the funniest women comics to touch a stage. She stands up tall against the in a box placement of comparing her to other women. Ray Diva will challenge any comic with higher levels of testosterone in their body.

It’s been roughly seven years since Diva has visited Charlottesville, and she is returning with seven years of stuff to say. Diva is known for her realism and bringing everything from her life onto the stage and leaving it there for the audience’s amusement. From her marriage, career, to her greedy fat son, you quickly realize that nothing is off limits for her to address and leave on that stage. She may not be the woman to take home to mama but she is the comic you want to pay to see.

The Jefferson School Heritage Center is located at 233 4th Street, NW, (2nd Floor) Charlottesville, Virginia 22903, directly across the street from Staples (Downtown).

Tickets may be available at the door starting 7pm. Doors open at 7:30pm Showtime at 8pm.
