The intersection of McIntire Road and the Route 250 Bypass in Charlottesville will be closed overnight on Monday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 19th from 7pm to 6am to erect steel bridge girders.
Two formal detours will be in place for 1) vehicles on 250 westbound needing to access McIntire Road and 2) for vehicles on McIntire Road needing to access 250 westbounf. The mainline of the Route 250 Bypass will remain unaffected.
The detour for vehicles on 250 westbound needing to access McIntire Road will be directed to the Rugby Avenue interchange ramps to U-turn. The detour for vehicles on McIntire Road needing to access 250 westbound will be directed to the Locust Avenue interchange ramps to U-turn.
Allied Lane will be closed on Monday, August 18th from 7pm to 6am as the entrance is reconstructed in preparation for paving. Please use Allied Street to access McIntire Plaza.
