Charlottesville Fashion Square to host Halloween event on Saturday

pumpkinCharlottesville Fashion Square invites local children, aged 12 years and under who are accompanied by an adult, to enjoy the annual Halloween Spook-Tacular family event and costume contest on Saturday.

During the event, children can stop participating retailers to enjoy the trick-or-treating experience in a safe, climate-controlled environment.  Plus, the Spook-Tacular will feature a bounce house, Halloween-themed crafts and entertainment.

To wrap up the frighteningly fun festivities, local children will show off their most creative, spookiest and spectacular costumes during a costume contest in JCPenney Court at 3:30 p.m.Participants must register for the contest prior to 3 p.m. and should note that masks and weapons are prohibited.

Trick-or-Treating
2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Costume Contest
