CAPSAW launches Community Needs Assessment

Contributors

economic-forecast-headerThe Community Action Partnership of Staunton, Augusta and Waynesboro (CAPSAW) is asking area residents to help determine their funding priorities for the next three years.

Community members can weigh in on what services and programs they believe will be most effective in having a direct impact  on the economic security of the region.  CAPSAW provides funding, derived from a combination of federal, state and local dollars, to non-profit and government agencies working to improve the economic and social stability of area families.

“An important part of determining community need is asking for the input of the individuals and families that live and work in that community,” said Anna Leavitt, CAPSAW coordinator.  The results of this survey will be combined with other local community data to help determine funding guidelines for agencies applying for funding through CAPSAW.

Copies can be requested through email at [email protected] or accessed directly through www.surveymonkey.com/s/L37PRDL.  The survey will be open until the end of July 2014.
