Cadence appoints new VP, general manager to lead finished devices, plastics division

cadenceCadence announced that Jeff Kelly has joined the company as vice president and general manager of its finished device and plastic injection molding division.

Kelly joins the team with over fifteen years of experience in key leadership roles for other medical and life science companies. Most recently, he led a team for Quest Diagnostics responsible for marketing and sales, business development, and international expansion.

“We are very excited to have Jeff join our team,” stated Alan Connor, CEO. “He brings a wealth of knowledge with him, and I am very confident that he will help accelerate growth in these new business areas for Cadence.”

Prior to his role with Quest Diagnostics, Kelly led other commercial and product development teams at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Bayer Healthcare, and Immunetrics. He holds an MBA from the Fuqua School at Duke University and received an undergraduate degree in economics with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurial management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
