C.F. Richards Christian School of Staunton celebrated the end of National Reading Month Friday morning.
Staunton Mayor Carolyn Dull and State Del. Dickie Bell were among those who took part.
Elder Bill Miller, president of the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, stopped by the third-/fourth-grade classroom to read a funny book about a mean hyena. He then fielded questions from the students about his favorite books, his family, and what it is like being a conference president.
