Parts of a Goalkeeper Glove

Backhand

Closure

Closure secures the glove to your hand. It comes in three types as well.

  • Hook and loop – It is most commonly used. It has an elastic and adjustable flap for tightening or loosening the glove.
  • Bandage – Bandage gloves are exactly what it sounds like. It wraps securely around your wrist providing a supportive fit.
  • V-notch – V-notch gloves allows ventilation to keep your cool and free of sweats.

  • Measure the circumference of your hand’s palm widest palm area.
  • Do not include the thumb’s measurement.
  • Round the size number up to the next highest inch.
