Microbursts, earthquakes, Derechos, fires, and more. Disasters can happen at any time. Is your business prepared for it? On Tuesday, February 17th the Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Take Away Tuesday event focusing on business preparedness. The Charlottesville-UVa-Albemarle Office of Emergency Management will educate local business owners and managers on how to prepare for a disaster.
The session will cover:
- Business continuity planning
- Emergency planning for employees
- Planning to stay or go
- Practice, practice, practice
Local businesses are vital to any community. Over 40% of businesses never recover after a major disaster. Don’t be that business!
The Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce will host the Take Away Tuesday event on Thursday, February 17th from 12pm to 1:30pm at the Chamber of Commerce (209 5th Street NE, Charlottesville).
