Virginia men’s head basketball coach Tony Bennett has announced the signing of guards London Perrantes (Woodland Hills, Calif.) and Devon Hall (Virginia Beach, Va.) to National Letters of Intent with the Cavaliers.

“We are pleased to welcome London and Devon into the Virginia men’s basketball family,” Bennett said. “Both of these young men are skilled players who work hard and understand team basketball. London and Devon have good character and a strong desire to make our team better. They also understand the commitment of being a successful student-athlete and the value of a degree from the University of Virginia.”

The 6-1 Perrantes (pronounced: per-ON-tees) averaged 15 points and seven assists per game for Crespi Carmelite High School as a junior last season. The two-time team captain was named to the All-California Interscholastic Federation and all-league teams as a junior. Perrantes has helped Crespi to the state playoffs in each of the last three seasons. He will begin his third year as a starter for Crespi this season. Parrentes is ranked No. 86 on ESPN’s Top 100 recruiting list for 2013.

The 6-5 Hall averaged 16 points, seven assists and seven rebounds per game for Cape Henry Collegiate School as a junior last season. Hall was named Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) Player of the Year, Most Valuable Player of the VISAA State Tournament, All-Tidewater Conference and was a member of the Tidewater All-Tournament Team. Hall is ranked No. 77 on Rivals.com’s 2013 Prospect Ranking list. His brother, Mark, is a freshman linebacker on UVa’s football team.
