Baltimore Ravens smacked down by Seattle, 35-6

ravensWith Joe Flacco and Matt Schaub both out with injuries, the Baltimore Ravens had to turn to recently signed quarterback Jimmy Clausen to face Seattle.

As one would expect, things didn’t work out with that.

The Seahawks beat Clausen for the second time this season, 35-6, on Sunday.

Clausen had started against Seattle (8-5) as a member of the Chicago Bears earlier in 2015, in a 26-0 loss in Week 3.

The Notre Dame alum had better numbers this time around. After going 9-for-17 for 63 yards as the Bears starter, Clausen finished 23-for-40 for yards with an interception on Sunday.

But the Ravens (4-9) could only manage 28 yards on the ground, and the defense could do little to stop Seattle.

Russell Wilson threw for five touchdown passes for the second time in three weeks, and finished with 292 yards on 23-for-32 passing.

The Seahawks outgained Baltimore 424-302.
