Baltimore gets big win over Yankees

Gausman (7-10, 3.58 ERA, 1.28 WHIP) gave up two hits in six innings, striking out eight and walking two.

Yankees lefty C.C. Sabathia (8-12, 4.20 ERA, 1.35 WHIP) took the loss for the Yankees (69-65), giving up two runs, one earned, on six hits in six innings, striking out one and walking two.

Adam Jones (.279/.319/.462, 25 HR, 76 RBI) hit a solo homer on a 2-for-4 night for Baltimore (74-61), which is two games back of Toronto in the AL East, and a game up on Detroit for the second AL wild-card spot.
