The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two larceny cases on Construction Lane in Fishersville.

Video surveillance shows that on Friday, Feb. 21, at 5 a.m., a light-colored conversion van, occupied by at least two people, accesses the property. A storage building was entered and several batteries were reportedly stolen.

And then on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 2 a.m., video footage captured a dark-colored pickup truck on the property. A large spool of fiber optic cable, valued at approximately $1,500, was stolen.

If anyone has any information about these thefts, contact Investigator C.J. Taylor of the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office at 540245-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 800-322-2017.
