Augusta County Sheriff’s Office investigating larcenies in Lyndhurst, Fishersville areas

augusta countyBeginning November 11th, and in the days following, the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of larcenies from unlocked vehicles, sheds and outbuildings located between the 2400 and 2900 block of Mount Torrey Road in Lyndhurst.

According to the reports received, only vehicles and buildings that were left unsecured or unlocked were targeted.

Items taken include: money, a firearm, musical instruments, electronics, clothing items, and other miscellaneous items.

The Sheriff’s Office is also looking into a series of larcenies from vehicles, burglaries to storage sheds, the theft of an ATV, and the theft of a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck that is silver in color and bearing Virginia plate UXX-3778.

These crimes occurred in several residential neighborhoods in Fishersville, including Mallory Circle and Wesleigh Manor during the overnight hours of Tuesday November 13th into Wednesday morning on November 14th.
