Seven members of Hells Angels charged after shooting, beating of rivals

augusta countyUpdate: Monday, 3:42 p.m. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office reports that 7 members of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang from the New York City area have been charged in relation to the shooting and beating in Greenville this morning.

Five members of Hells Angels are being charged with:

  • Malicious wounding
  • Use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Two of the Hells Angels were charged with:

  • Possession of meth
  • Possession of a firearm while in possession of narcotics

As a result of the search warrant, numerous Hells Angels’ clothing, jewelry, and motorcycles were seized as part of the investigation.

Both victims are members of the Pagan Motor Cycle Gang in Virginia.

The suspect’s names, charges, and mugshots will be released later this afternoon.

 

First report: Monday, 2:19 p.m. Seven men were detained at the scene of an early-morning shooting in Greenville, according to the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.

Details are sparse at this stage. One man was shot, another was assaulted.

The sheriff’s office said there was no continuing threat to the community as a result of the incident.

As a precautionary measure, schools and a daycare in the area were notified of the incident.
