Artist launches site, promotes Art Center

Today, watercolor artist Cynthia Doyle has launched new website, CynthiaDoyleArt.com. The website will sell both her original watercolor pieces and high-quality reproductions. Doyle is also using the launch of her website to bring attention to a cause near and dear to her heart.

During the month of October, CynthiaDoyleArt.com will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales to support the Shenandoah Valley Art Center, a non-profit community art center aiming to bring art awareness and education to Waynesboro and the surrounding areas.

Doyle, a native of Waynesboro, volunteers at the Shenandoah Valley Art Center and has been involved in the arts since picking up her first paintbrush as a teenager. She has shown her work in several galleries and festivals in both North Carolina and Virginia and has actively been involved in arts education.

Doyle moved back to the area after almost 30 years in North Carolina when her husband, Rodger, took over as the general manager of the Waynesboro Country Club last year. The move allowed her to bring her focus back to art and paved the way for her to build her new venture.

“This is very exciting and challenging for me as an artist and also provides me with a way to reach a broader audience for my work,” said Doyle. “I feel at home with paintbrushes and paper, so this is really stretching myself in a new direction and I am eager to see where it goes.”

Visit CynthiaDoyleArt.com to see the selection of pieces available and learn more about Doyle.
