Creating with Colored Pencils
For adults and high school age
Six Tuesdays starting April 3, 7-9PM
Taught by artist and certified art teacher Maribeth Nolde

Students will explore colored pencil techniques of blending, shading, and mixing as they draw from life and create from imagination. Some previous drawing experience required. Please bring drawing paper, watercolor pencils (24), watercolor brushes, drawing pencil and eraser.

You Can Be a Photographer
For adults and high school age
Six Thursdays starting May 3, 6:30-8:30PM

Learn artistic techniques to enhance snapshots of family vacations, birthdays, and other special events. This course will include camera basics and photo software, how to really “see” photo ops, “framing” the photo before you take it, how to critique your own work, and more. This course is for those new to photography as well as those who want to improve their techniques. Please bring digital camera and have the ability to print photos between class meetings. Also, wear good walking shoes since the class will go on a few photo excursions downtown.
